As promised, the best cheesy biscuit recipe you'll ever try

Here at last is the recipe for Quick Cheese Biscuits, as promised. (I know I have referred to them as Cheesy Garlic Biscuits in previous posts, but Quick Cheese Biscuits is their proper name.)
These are my go-to when I’m looking for something to round out a meal, and I love that they use ingredients I always have on hand. We prefer these made with Old Cheddar cheese (although any grated cheese will work) and served warm with lots of hard butter. You can also easily substitute buttermilk for the regular milk and they are always yummy.
These are best eaten the same day they are made, but in a pinch, they can be frozen for a short period of time and re-warmed in the oven in a paper bag or perhaps some aluminum foil.
Quick Cheese Biscuits
These are awesome and easy! I have never met anyone who didn't love them, and they go wonderfully with any soup, stew or just about anything else. In my opinion, they rival Red Lobster's biscuits, only better!
Apparently our family has a lot of favourite recipes! I first made these in 2003, and the recipe was clipped out of one of the many magazines I purchased at the time, Canadian Living. You can find the recipe on Canadian Living’s website Quick Cheese Biscuits
Verdict
These remain one of our favourite accompaniments to any soup, and happily Dad has no trouble eating them at this point. We recently got back from a trip to PEI, and Dad tells me these biscuits "were way better than anything I tried on our whole trip". High praise indeed, as he tasted a lot of biscuits while we were away!
